The Australian Centre for Independent Journalism (ACIJ) is the leading provider of continuing professional education short courses in journalism and media education.
ACIJ short courses provide a fast way to update and improve writing and media skills of people working within the media industry, government and corporate environments. ACIJ lecturers are industry professionals and experienced educators.
Class sizes are limited to ensure participants receive individual attention and full involvement. Courses are UTS Board approved. Participants receive a certificate on successful completion.
Courses are delivered at the UTS City Campus Broadway, a short walk from Central Station, accessible by bus with parking stations nearby.

Our short courses can be delivered externally and tailored to meet individual requirements. Major clients include the ABC, Fairfax, Australian Consolidated Press and Reed Business.
