Media Law Fundamentals
This course examines the laws impacting on the work of media professionals involved and others involved in publishing.
It covers the fundamentals of defamation, contempt of court and copyright law, reporting the legal system, racial vilification and censorship, dealing with police and magistrates and the role of the Press Council.
The next course will be held over two consecutive Saturday's in 2008 - dates to be confirmed.
